Izzy went training
Session went very well. Izzy straight off the lead, we walked up the edge of the field, next to the oaks and hedgerows.
Izzy was a star. She was "hunting" straight away, zig-zagging like made as we made our way.
The trainer was very impressed with her "focus" He said she shows great natural instinct and must be from good stock and praised what I have done with her sofar.
We did some "tighter" whistle work with Izzy, who took to it straight away
He covered the quartering of the land in front of her as she hunts, a few retrieves, and some close walking work.
I need to work on her not dropping her ball at my feet, but rather have her hold it then give it to me. He was gereraly very impressed with her, with filled me with pride. After this we did some lead work to stop her pulling.

Ellie
Whilst out on my morning walk this morning I met Ellie. A 6yr old black and white Springer just like me !!!
Whilst Dad and Ellie's Mum chatted, I shared my new toy with her for a while, but managed to get it back just in time as Dad called for me to carry on with our walk.....

New Friend
I met a new friend on my walk this morning. He is called DJ and is a rescue dog all the way from Ireland. He came from a breeder who wanted a smooth coated black lab, but he wasn't quiet perfect for some reason, so was re-homed. Ill keep an eye out for him in the mornings now !
